The Forum on Law, Culture & Society at Fordham Law School is a public humanities program that invites the general public to satisfy its intellectual curiosity on matters of law, justice, and civil society in an engaging, respectful town hall setting. The Forum brings together influential artists and leading public figures in conversation with audience members to explore ideas about law and justice, and how the two are integrated into the broader culture.
Dean William Treanor
In addition to our conversations with special guests, Forum events include a broad range of cultural offerings. The Forum also hosts the Fordham Law Film Festival, an annual event that features six nights of films all dealing with a legal theme followed by post-screening discussions with artists, writers, public intellectuals, and members of the legal profession.
